Short term accommodation (STA)

STA gives someone a short stay away from home, with support, while their family or carers take a break. It can also be a chance to try new things and build confidence away from home. We don't use a fixed respite house. For each STA stay, we find accommodation that suits the person and their support needs — the right location, accessibility, layout and comfort — and our team provides the support throughout. We offer STA in the Geelong region and in South Gippsland. Talk to us early so we can find the right place and plan the stay together.
